i just installed mine yesterday, so i dont think i can give a very worthy opinion. but, ive heard lots of good things and mine seems good so far. except my stock cotter pins were too small and the kit i got didnt come with any, so we just bent the stock ones *shrugs*.

I have had these on my car for a few weeks now and I dunno if the skunk ones are like this but....

The bolts that are on the arm for the adjusting of the ball joint position are made if real cheap aluminum bolts that will snap if you over tighten them. I went and got stainless bolts to replace all of the ones on there.

All in all, I guess its an ok set up but seemed like more trouble than it was worth when i snapped that bolt.

Mine are the Skunks but the Omnipower ones are the same. I give them a 2 out of 10. Negative points for inadequate hardware and fitment.

Do a search on the Skunk 2 arms and you'll find that many people have had problems with them slipping. Star washers are need to bite into the steel so they don't slip and the hex head give a bit more clearance on top of the arm, easier to fit a wrench in there too. Skunk 2 has redesigned their mounting system with a plate ontop... negatives of this system is that it's hard to get to the adjusting screws since they're on the bottom now.

Also the interference with the frame is a negative, there should be adequate clearance. Your milage may vary.

They're working for me now but for $160 I expect them to fit and perform from the start.

even though they look the same the skunk2 and omnipower are different. ask steve from omnipower. he said that they are the same casting in pieces but he welds them differently than skunk2.

Even w/ a 2.25 drop in the rear my rear camber was fine, just the front was out of spec.

Many canyon runs later I too have never had a slippage problem. I own the new skunk ones along with many of my friends. Ask people who own skunk2 and 9 out of 10 will not have a slippage problem.

I've got the Omni's. Put them in a couple of days ago. Went in fine, but they rub against the frame. Pain in the ***. Now I gotta take them out and file them with a die grinder.

Oh well.

dann lot of negative ...rub against the frame is hella bad...slip off is worse but fixable....should i give it a try for OMNI
for rubbing against frame is hella obvious by visually ...the ball join is about 1/2 inch longer than stock i think...

the guy going for $145 for fronts? how does that sound?

kick back </TD></TR></TABLE> ? I am kickback...I just dont understand why someone would get a product they didnt need and install it.... Well, I have a jdm front end so I guess I answered my own question! on me. I have ingalls front camber kit and it corrected my camber perfectly, no problems w/ the kit for about 2 years now.

If your product doesn't fit/work like it should...it should at least be cheap. Oh, and I got crown nuts but no cotter pins
