can't build pressure in my hydrolic clutch
i just replaced my engine and i can't get it to build pressure up.I searched on this but didn't come back with anything clear as to whats wrong with it i filled the reserve back up and pumped the pedal and it felt like it was building but got to a point and just stayed the same.
any help would be great thanks.

if it is a dry system it may take alot of pumping. When i did mine I had to pump fluid into it until it begain to come out of the other end then pump until the resevore is empty and pump some air into it, and it will begin to squirt out alot faster. Finally I refilled the resevore and bled the clutch
At your slave cylinder. Bleeds just like your brakes. And don't pump air into it, the point of bleeding your clutch is to get the air out and fill the lines with fluid. Your slave cylinder should be close to your transmission closer to you when your standing in front of your engine look to the left of the block.
Put a shoe or a piece of wood underneath the clutch pedal, this is just to make sure you don't damage the clutch cylinder when pumping it.
1. Hold the clutch pedal down
2. Open the nipple on the end of the clutch line
3. Close the nipple
4. Pump the clutch pedal to build up pressure
5. Repeat steps 1-3.
Also, check the fluid level after every time open the nipple. You don't want to let the reservoir run dry.
