im just wondering if any of you guys are running header in your CRX with AC system still in the car..because the technician guy says that the header will burn up the AC system. I just wanna know if its true..

 

I used to run a dc header w/ ac when I still had my single cam. Nothing burnt up for me and I ran like that for a year.

 

ive never heard of anything like that, that doesnt really make sense if you ask me. the only thing i know of is that the radiator fans got in the way and you had to get slimmer fans.

your technician is full of poop. i know people that have a header for at least 4 years without the AC burning up. i too had a DC header on my old SOHC engine with AC and never had any problems.

 

I have airmass header on mine and AC is blasting R12 "old skol freon" for 3 yrs with no issues. Tell him he's full of ****.

think about it, as long as it isn't really close to the lines, you'll be fine. If thats a worry, wrap the lines in some heat wrap junk or whatever.

 

yea i have header on my rex but i dont have ac took it out wit b swap
