Great Header Test - How were the tests performed?
Hmm well I personally think that if it was indeed a swap and run senario, then the results aren't accurate.
Each header (may) require a different set of parameters as far as fuel and timing in the most basic sense - even on a bone/semi stock vehicle. (cam tuning perhaps for non-stock vehicle)
A minor change in fuel and timing could easily skew the results towards one way or the other.
Simply bolting something on, doesn't do that part any justice IMO.

Hmm I guess your right. thats a valid point.
Just thought of another thing though.. How much time lagged between runs? What were the intake air temps for each run? A difference of 5-10F will make a drastic difference in output (anywhere from 1-8whp).
