h22 u.s. and japan h22

hi, I had a 95 prelude vtec, and the engine is totally trash(the car is u.s. car). i bought a 95 prelude vtec engine import from japan. is there any modification to put it in my car?

Yep. Its called an engine swap.

No, all mounts should be fine, good luck. I think the only differences are the internals.

i dont think their is that much of difference...isnt it like 10 hp difference?

Swap the fuel rail-> Japanese points to the other side. And replace a distributor as JDMs are internal coil ones. The rest is the same.
