Dont know what to search under?, But everytime I hit a bump since we lowered it, you can hear a squeeky noise coming from somewhere around the shocks.. . Its a 98 coupe witha 3 inch drop all around? And the back is cambering like a ****... Waiting on a camber kit.. What do ya'll think it might be? Shocks,...ect.?

 

grease your nipples.. No really find the nipples and grease them everyonce and a while it helps the suspension move freely

 

my coupe squeaks too... i think its the camber kit though.

Mine does too. But it did before I lowered it with springs too. *scratchs chin* I dunno. Lets here about these nipples, that could be my problem too.

 

Mine does it too, I just figured all the shocks were blown.

 

nipples? are u talking about the zerg fitting. if so, civic dont have them. you dont need to lube the suspension. my civic makes a squeak noise everytime i go over a bump too. time for new shocks.

 

yeah, i too could use new shocks.

 

I dont think its the shocks. My friend's Civic was doing it and we replaced the shocks with Tokico HPs and it still squeeks over bumps.

 

the bigest problem i have with mine is the damn plastic stock dust boots that the directions told me to put back on the rear shocks fighting with springs. It sounds awful like a pop can crushing and then I have to cut off the portion that got fucked up so it does not fight with the spring anymore

 

In the back, it cambers alot, but I seriously dont think the shocks are bad? I think I need a camber kit.. Forgot to mentinion... When I jacked up the back to see if somethin was loose or something, I looked at the coilover sleeve and like the spring is rubbing againt it. .?? You think that might be it?

check the balljoints...i had that problem

 

Wouldn't be the balljoints for my friend since the squeeking is coming from the rear.

 

I mainly here it on the passenger side, front and back....?
