This does work to a certrain extent, but definately not to the tune of 35hp.

It cuts down on turbulance in the intake piping therefore increasing the velocity of the air intake. This does give some increase in power and fuel economy, but the real question is can you make something like this on your own.

believe it or not, i tried one of those things back when i first got my car and didnt know GARBAGE! I remember an old issue of superstreet/turbo magazine had an ad that said supercharge your car $60! I thought i was going to recieve this big thing in the mail...all it came out ot be was this coke can material just cut up so it had a spiral looking shape. It makes sense, but it doesnt create any power. Didnt notice anything on my butt dyno nor my gas mileage *like the ads claim they add! Maybe on american cars it might work a little, but this is the same thing as the "spiral max and the Tornado" both "as seen on tv" products.
