Default Drag Racing Trading Cards

I was at the Englishtown race event a few weeks back and I saw these new trading cards done by this company called Real Wheelz. They were pretty hot but I was wondering if they were real or not. Like, did this company really have permission to make the cards or are they ripping off NOPI? I figured, what better place to ask than the drag race section on Tech? A lot of real racers on here and I just wanted to know if you guys know about this product and if it is real.

Cool. Well, that leaves me with two questions.

1) Are they doing the cards in collab with the NDRA and

2) Can you put in a word for me and my Integra to get on the cards?

No, and you will have to contact them yourself on that. I am sure he will have a ton of questions for you on the car.

I don't mean to be all "Inspector Gadget" but as an insider, isn't there some kind of conflict of interest or something if both of them are doing cards?

Very novel idea, making trading cards from the sport compact racing industry. I used to collect Marvel trading cards so it brought back some childhood memories. Just bought myself the entire set. Still a kid at heart I guess.

What kind of conflict? We give ours away at the races, and to the drivers. We make no money off of the cards, we print them and distribute them to help our committed racers and the sport. I think this is kind of what they are wanting also.

And they give you more cards then you could ever give away......I think I'll have to use them as my Christmas cards this year LOL. Just kidding they are really cool and thanks to the NDRA for doing something for the racers.

Generally, if a driver goes to all of the planned events. they can give away all of thier cards.

I saw those Real Wheels cards at a Jersey show. They were pretty cool. Good mix of well known and lesser known drivers plus show cars and the guy selling them said there were prizes like custom built turbos and other stuff that you could redeem in some of the packs. Sounded like some pretty hot stuff too. Trading cards are cool but a turbo is the answer!

Sold9secteg,

Thanks for the info, man. I couldn't post before because I'm a newbie and they're restricting me to 4 posts per day for a while. I think NOPI is cool to do cards for the drivers like that and Real Wheels is cool too. I'm glad you guys can do your separate things with no sniping. I want to get into racing with my integra and it's kinda cool to think that one day I could end up on a trading card or something. Nobody else seems to be paying much attention to the sport these days but if you guys keep it up, we might see more people out at the races. Every lttle bit helps...
