blue book for my 00 gsr through a private party is 12,600 so 13888 from a dealer sounds fair. I only have 28K miles though. I never heard of them replacing clusters. they can get in a lot of trouble if someone was to ever find out. You can tell how many miles a car has just by looking at certain things.

Good luck

I just look for any signs of wear or abuse. See how clean the engine bay is. Look for signs of modifications i.e missing screws on the airbox, worn clutch. I cant really explain it. I wouldnt worry about the mileage thing though 43K on a 2000 is nothing to brag about, it sounds about right.

I think since you are buying it from a dealer and Acuras warranty is 48K or 4 years, you should be ok. If you really want help tell acura you want to drive it to a mechanic and have him check it out

Use common sense and never, never buy a used car at night. Look for mismatches in paint, misaligned body panels and fisheyed paint. I bought my 01 LS at 8:30 pm last november and found out the next day that the rear bumper was a completely different shade of blue. Oh well live and learn.

haha that kinda sucks ...

id hav to say be careful, check everything if thier is somethin u dont like about it either make them compensate or just walk out, u can always get a better deal. also one thing u should always know all dealers the lowest possible price they can sell the car at. if u offer below it and walk they wont bother stoppin u, but if u offer in thier range and they dont agree and u threat a walk out they will stop u. thier are lots of things u should look for i think http://www.team-integra.com has a tips for buyin a car its for private sales mostly but u can use the same for the dealers. from wat i can remember on the top of my head the 1st tiem u take a test drive u should keep it from warmin up and listen to the engine for any hesitation, shift and listen to the engine/trans if thier is any grinds hesitation or anythin fishy. might wanna drive around a few integs before u just get 1 ... so u can see how much a power a integra should hav and wat isnt suppose to be thier etc

(and we bought our Toyota Camry XLE at later then 9 at nite and we got an excelent deal)

well i bought the car...downed 800...monthly was originally 260 but with the warranty it came out to be 300. i only had to add 40 more dollars monthly for the warranty and the gap insurance...the salesman was really cool...the car didn't even hit the used car lot, he just had it parked in the back so no one else would see it.

i am satisfied with my purchase...i have driven a few integs and it feels about the same...me and my dad test drove it twice each time and told me it was a steal...interior has a few blemishes but very clean imo...exterior is also clean...

will post pics later...
