Default Really need some help (Japanese translation question)

I have a Blitz Racing Meters DC set.

The gauges function very well but backlight of one of the three meters is weaker than the other two. This is very annoying. I know these Blitz gauges have the possibility to adjust the intensity of the backlight but I only have a Japanese manual.

I have asked Blitz UK, USA and Australia for an English manual but they do not respond at all.

Maybe there someone here on HT who can read Japanese and who is willing to help me solve this problem?

This is the link to the Japanese manual (.pdf) on the Japanese Blitz site: http://www.blitz.co.jp/Operati...c.pdf

I think you'll have to convert pdf into text or html first.

You have to download the Acrobat Japanese fonts first or you will not see anything.

the instructions doesn't mention anything about the backlight or how to adjust it. Have your tried plugging a different gauge into the that same 12v source on the live unit...check your grounds as well...or you may just have a gauge with a dying backlight.

Thanks for your help.

No the gauges are fine, they have been this way since I've bought them. According to the Blitz site is was possible to adjust the brightness. Strange...
