hey all you southern people, are we still on for feburary for the meet here in tennessee? last i checked a couple of people had said nashville, so whats up lets get this thing going again and get alot of people togather.

 

My vote is still on having it in Knoxville. I dont want to drive over the platau in February. Plus, if we have it in knoxville, the guys from North Carilina can come over. I still agree about having it in February. I will have to check my calendar to see when I am free.

 

As long as it's January/February or some of the warmer months, I'm still down... Just putting my new tranny in now

Man its cool w/ me. Man my car looks like it got hit by the terrorist on sept 11th, and if I go, I won't be worried about what ppl say about it. I just go to hang out/meet ppl etc.

Although I drive an import....I secretly crave a V8!!! C4-5 please...

ladies and gentelmen why dont we just go ahead and say knoxville it is, lets set up a deffinte date so that us coming from out of town want to stay up there we can go ahead and find a place to stay. i think another good idea would be to find someone in knoxville to kinda take lead of this and find a place to meet and help others find a place to stay. lest get thins thing gowing and get some people from the east coast to come also.

Knoxville is fine.. it's 4-5 hours, but I'll survive... B16a with an LS tranny's gunna LOVE this trip... on BOOST MUAHAHAHAHA!

 

What about sometime near spring break. (like mid march or so) It will be slightly warmer than Feb.

 

heck if we wait til march my car will look fine. but keep us updated on the date.

 

March sounds good... Less likely to drive through any snowstorms that way

Ok....I've been to knoxville a few times, but I'm not like an ace when it comes to navigating that town. (as in, I may get lost easy). So if someone can/will take initiative to set up things such as an exact date, a meeting location, maybe a list of ideas regarding "what to do during the meet" etc etc etc....

as far as the date goes it will have to be a weekend that would make it alot easier for me and i would guess everyone else plus i am still in school so i cant come during the week. how long will we stay?will it just be a one day thing? lets claer up some questions

I'm with you on the weekend thing, b/c I have school to *unless it is sometime during spring break* Also, a one or maybe two day thing is kinda what I think it will be. I think a weeklong meet would get old and we'd probably be tired of each others company by then....

But I'm cool with the following conditions

hey iam with you on the weekend meet, and on the date how about the first weekend in march(the 1st,2nd,3rd) that is the weekend after my b-day and if i have to get a hotel room i will be able too seeing that i will be 18 then. but someone in that area needs to find a location.....that would help, let me know what you guys think. another idea i had was to show this in the other areas and get a bunch of people togather or do you guys wanna keep it ef and crx only?

 

I'm feeling a Honda Meet... But keep it MOSTLY 4th gen and older Civic's 2nd and older CRX. Sound good?

For the meet. Let's make it a get together on friday night, stay overnight, do something saturday, and then leave or stay sat night and wrap up Sunday... I'll have to leave sat night to be at work on sun morning.

Anyone in knoxville have suggestions on WHAT THE HELL TO DO for a day or two? is there a track there we could crash a test n tune or anything at? Possibly a local hangout on the weekends we could crasy... just visiting for 48 hours gets old quickly, guys.

Maybe we could plan it around a movie coming out? TF&TF 2 or something?
