I recently purchased some wheels for my gsr and i would like to know what size tire (slicks) would be the most effective on my 95 gsr (teg). Yes i have did some search but didn't not come up with the information i'm looking for. Asking the pros what will be best for my car. (all motor high compression set up)

What times are you running right now?

 

I just orderd weld too 13x8

this is the tire size i was going to use 24.5x8.5x13

Quitripin do you need spacers with those. if ya what size

whats your setup? final drive? transmission?
im runnin weld draglites 13x8 w/ m-t 22x8x13 slicks. i have a 4.40fd.
i have to run spacers only because i have integra brakes.

 

You would be suprised what a taller (then a 22") tire would do.

the transmission is a type R tranny (for the street) i got a stock final udsm drive i beleive it's a 4.5, i got a 00 si i tranny for the strip i haven't used still waiting on my spool

with the 13x8 with spacer

I believe thats about it i haven't ran the motor yet on the track except when it was stock

24.5"'s are probably what your looking for with your setup.

 

whats the fd gonna be with the spool? i personally like 22's. my boy also runs 22's with a 4.70fd in a 85mm ls/vtec.

 

4.5 ( i believe thats stock#)

 

i would say some 23's from m&h
