BOMEX Body Kit how are they holding up post pics and provide info thanks!
hey guys I guess this would be the best place to post this i dunno?! Anyway Im thinking about the bomex body kit for my EK9 I hear its better than fiberglass but not quite urethane. How are they holding up out there guys? I live in canton ohio where the streets are pure crap I just want to know if it will be money well spent? any suggestions thanks?!
I have bomex sides, rear an wing on my 240sx...
The side skirts allow some flex without seemin to brittle
The rear seems thinner for some reason,an chips easier as well.
The wing is fiberglass an super solid,I use it to open my trunk an slam it shut all the time!

I've got a brand new front for the ek, just have to figure out shipping
PM me if interested.
They're handlaid fiberglass so its stronger than the copies but every kit will start to fail after a while depending on conditions on the streets and how many times its scraped. Bomex makes quality stuff for sure, strong in all the places that will have the most stress it seems. But I'll tell ya, I didn't put mine on cus the entrances to places around here are sorta steep.

damn im whoring this pic out...lol...but the REAL bomex fiberglass is very thick compared to most other fiberglass kits i've seen. YES i did crack it and YES its not indestructable but its quality and fitment is amazing. it even came with its own brackets/bolts/rivets to hold it on from bomex! make sure you get a real one with its emblems inlaid in the fiberglass on the backside of the pieces
i had the real kit, mirrors, and roofwing
Its thicker fiberglass...not urethane

a frien of mine had a authentic bomex kit on his 97 4dr teg -- that thing was great.. cmae pre drilled-- mounting was perfect... - but like EKchump said -- its fiberglass-- so yes it does crack...& it will.. dont matterhow much u spend on tha f-glass kit.. it will break eventually...
