Sea Level difference.
A couple of months ago i raced my prelude up at the track. Its an si and it c&d road tests claimed 15.7 in a quarter, at sea level with decently skilled editors behind the wheel. My best time was 16.9...so i was obviously disappointed...i pushed but i couldnt beat 16.9. I was talking to a guy who i consider a major expert, who has done all of the work on my car. He said that the elevation at the track(roughly just over 4000 feet) would add a second to my time....so if i was at sea level id only be about .2 seconds off. Is this accurate?

That conversion with my 16.9 came out to be just about 16 even. Thats cool...now i dont feel so bad. Thanks...as far as '60 and trap...ill have to look at my slip..which is out in my car....which i dont feel like going to get. I do remember my reaction time though.... 0.008. Is that a good reaction time?

Are you kidding??? .008 on a .000 tree is awsome!!! Some pro drivers can't even do that. Good job!! Oh, and in a heads up competition, the reaction time does make a difference in the 1/4 mile ET!
it is your et with your rt. who ever has the lower time wins. wasn't it at the first nopi event in VA. When paisley cut a rediculous reaction time and Ara beat him down the track but because of the nice *** rt by paisley, Craig won? isn't that how it went down. i forget
