I recently converted my dpfi civic to a mpfi but after a while It would start choking up on me so after a while of thinking, I came up with this conclusion ....... with a dpfi the fuel pump is smaller cause it only pumps into two injectors right, so a mpfi i would have to put an si pump meaning changing the gas tank cause the pump doesnt fit....right? Am i making sense hear? Someone help me out! Thanks

 

The stock pump works fine. I had a stock pump for awhile when I had my b16 in a dx. Your problem sounds like hesitation which can be caused by wiring the fuel injectors in the wrong order but who knows what your problem is. I have no idea what engine you are even using.

 

i would again advise you to check your wiring..... I did it to this dx hatch with a b16 and ran fine with no problems... Could be a cloged fuel filter....

 

Yea i thought it was the filter to so i changed it but nothing. Could be wiring. That didnt even cross my mind! Any other ideas?
