Default 5th and 4th Gen Trannys...

Searched for something on this subject, nothing relevant came up.

A friend of mine told me the 4th gen trannys on the Accords (Lx, Ex, Ex-r...Canada here) the trannys are cable. Whereas on the 5th gen Accords, the trannys are hydro.

Can anybody confir or disprove this,
Thanks.

what you need backup for? im telling you its hydrolic on my 4th gen... very simple.... ive been trying to figure out my clutch engagement issues. go to http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and look up any 4th gen year. it will show you that the accords have both a master and slave cylinder for the clutch

Yes the 4th gen is Hydraulic, it is not a cable.
