Badass!!! Looks exactly like my old ones (same type of material and MIG welded)

Where'd you get the flanges and piping? I want to make another one.

i notice you don't have any straight sections in there, could be why its not lining up quite right, ?

i do have some straight sections, but when i made the collector did not do a verry good job, so im having a had time alighning everything. and I also doing this by myself and its hard to hold the pieces and tack weld at the same time. but ill get it soon, not in a big hurry.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 98ctr &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> and I also doing this by myself and its hard to hold the pieces and tack weld at the same time. but ill get it soon, not in a big hurry. </TD></TR></TABLE>

why not just use a clamp or some big visegrips to hold while youre tacking?

98ctr,
Is that cast iron? They weigh like .9 pounds correct? Those are the ones I'm planning on using. Huge congrats on starting yours. My machine shop is slow, waiitng for the collector to be finished.

nice. I voiced concerns on using these elbows in my DIY: Equal length manifold thread. Can you by any chance weigh the manifold right now with the collector? I'm making literally the exact same thing, and I'm guessing it will be close to 20 pounds.

Keep us updated with lots of pics man.

na, no prob there. It should be ok. I just wheighed the manifold and it came in at 19 lbs. so it was close to 20 lbs.
