Default wheel/tire combo

My friend and i are working on his 91 CRX si, and we are looking at wheels. We have decided on 16" 5zigen fighters, and we are thinking of going with 205/45/16 rubber.

have two questions for you: 1) what brands do you suggest for good year round daily driver (we get EVERY kind of weather, so keep that in mind)

2) is this going to leave us enough gap to drop it on h&r sports (1.5ish) and not rub?

already got the wheels? i have 16" and run 205/40r16 tires (those are the mathematically correct sizes).

i wish id have gone w/ 15" instead.

get steelies for winter (or use stock rims)

I'm in the same situation as crx_88_si...I have a set of 16's right now which I got for a good price. But now I wish I had gotten 15's instead, since tire selection for 16's is pretty small.

nope, we dont have the wheels yet. thanks for the advice...what rubber should we go with if we go with 15s?

See, my problem with 15s is that they always looked a little too small to me, but if we drop it and get rid of the gap, that should take care of that problem, no?
