Valve cover gasket set question
I purchased a FelPro gasket set for my 93 accord.
It's my first Honda and I'm used to basic repairs.
But I am stumped as to what the four O-rings in the set are for?
Obviously the washers, seals inside of cover for plug tubes, and gasket for the cover are apparent.
I would think that the four O-rings have a use also, what it is, I have no clue.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Nope.
These O-rings are as large as the ones that fit in the top of the valve cover that have the flange for the plug stem.
It's fairly odd that they are the same size, unless they are to be used in conjunction. Or that this kit is the same for older or newer models where there is a specific purpose for them. I don't know.
It seems as though the way it was configured without these O-rings that it was sealed efficiently. There was very little oil around the base of the plugs and only around three of them.
Altogether I would have to say that the oil around the plugs didn't amount to 1/3 of an ounce.
I plan on putting it back together tomorrow afternoon, just wanted to take the time to find out if they serve a purpose or not. If they do I would prefer to use them.

They must be alternative seals for some model other than yours. All the Accords I've ever seen have the flat washer seals fitting to the top of the valve cover to seal the spark plug tubes.
I once used a FelPro kit on my 90 Accord. I don't remember having the Orings, but it's been sometime ago. Felpro kit worked well.

I had the same question... good thing that search works well. Now my only question is how hard is it to replace the the rocker arm O-ring?
How do you take off the rocker arm?
does this involve talking off the timing belt, re-adjusting the cames ect?
