airbag missing from del sol steering wheel?

when i push on the center of my steering wheel (where the airbag would be) its goes in about .75 inches maybe. its very soft too. Is this normal? how does yours feel?

i can push mine in atleast 0.5". i know there's airbag in there (i've changed steering wheels b4). does your SRS light come on, then turn off when you start your car? if it does, then ur SRS system should be fine.
