Default Oops......Tranny Help????

Hey all, I'm doing a clutch install on my buddies Eg. Early in the process, when i removed the VSS, it seperated and part of it dropped into the tranny. It can be seen here, part number #7 : https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=554171 .
So now i'm tryin to figure out what i have to do to get it out. It looks like its pretty well in there cus i can hardly see it, but i can hear it move around. Am I gonna have to take the tranny apart from the gearbox? I would REALLY hate to have to do that since i have no idea whats goin on in there. Any help is Greatly appreciated. Thanks!

yes your going to have to take it apart. if the piece is metal, try using a magnet.

Yea that's the first thought i had. Gettin ready to go to PepBoys our Autozone and pick up one of those extendable magnetic dealies.
If that doesnt work, can anyone tell me how I'd go about pulling this thing apart? Dont need to pull any gears or anything, just need to get it apart, extract this part, and put it back together. Thanks for the reply

If you can, get it with a magnet. Otherwise I don’t see any way around taking the housing off. That’s what we did, of course we were going to take it apart anyway.
