Default 96-97 Accord EX Kamikaze O2 location question

Those of you that have this header, where does your O2 hookup ? I really don't feel like extending my O2 wires and I was told that the header for my model has the hookup right in front of the radiator (where the primaries meet).

Is this true or misinformation ?

96-97 accord Ex's primary o2 is positioned at the end of the downpipe right behind the oil pan (for those that don't know).

Thanks.

There are 2 oxygen sensors on OBD-2 cars. Im talking about the primary one, not the secondary.

On my 4th gen Matrix headers, the o2 sensor location was on the cylinder 3 pipe!? What ended up happening was I got a bung and plug kit and lugged that sucker up and then drilled a hole in the downpipe where the o2 sensor SHOULD have gone and got the new "threads" welded on my hole. Actually wasn't my choice, the shop that I took it to did that since the last shop I took my car to fucked my exaust (welded new cat strait to the end of the down pipe) so I couldn't do the headers myself. That is an option for you though if you want to run that route.

Thanks for all the replies.

Hoping to get an answer from someone with a 96-97 Accord EX that installed a Kamikaze.

Thanks again.

yes i did as a matter of fact. but the guy i talked to could barely speak english and didn't understand my question. Plus I was at work and had to pick up ringing lines while i was on the phone with him.

I suppose I'll have to call again if no-one here has an answer.

its more of a supercharger header.. with its extreme primaries..

id figure it was close to stock. but ia m trying to think. we did one on a car and it was all shitty.. i cant remember exact issues.. but we were far from happy..

coating was the suck.. and it was really just overall a shiett header for the price..
hell for free it was shitty.

i do think it had it but it was a bit longer then normal..

Thanks for the reply KTeller8.

Do you have any recommendations on a 4-1 header that will fit my F22B1?

I have a powertech right now, the gains are nice but the quality of the header wasn't up to par. Plus my wife tore it open not paying attention.. damn her.. lol.

The Kam looked like the only header worth a ****... I am not interested in a 4-2-1.

Yeah, mine is by the flange on the end of the downpipe (factory position). I have an EX header 1(F22B1, 2.2 VTEC for those that don't know) not a DX,LX.

the O2 sensor is in the O2 sensor housing which is right behind the factory pipe. the factory pipe can be completely removed leaving the O2 sensor and housing intact. the header that you have is designed to be used with a lx and ex you just have to plug up the lx O2 hole

Hey Dave, thanks for the reply. But what you're saying is not making any sense.
The stock location for my O2 sensors is one on the header at the end of the downpipe.. and a secondary one in the CAT.

Another Header question, I have a 96 Accord and want to put a header on it, would a header like the greddy for the Accord EX work on my LX?
