Default car value

i tried to post this in general debate and dicus. so thats way im putin here again bc the guy i cant reach the guy i was tryin to respond too.

ok check this out, my friend had a integ rs 94 that he wrecked that he just put a jdm gsr into. the wreck was a total loss, so of course hes gonna buy the car bck from the salvage bc of that motor. now he is debating whether or not if he should tell the estimater about the motor bc he know for sure that it will increase the value of the orignal check he would get from the insurance of a rs integ, but if he tells them about this gsr he knows for sure he will get a bigger check than the original check of just a stock rs. so in this sit. whatever insur. comp. doesnt matter, all he cares is gettin that bigger value to get a bigger check. however it will also increase the salvage vaule if he tells them aobut the motor, but the diff. is still worth it. now even though the insurance knows he had that motor they cant increase his insurance premiums or whatever bc they dont know if hell keep the motor or sell it after he buys it from the salvage right? i mean they could increase the prem, if he decided to get the same car fixed after he bought it from the salvage with the same motor in it right, but if he told them about the motor now then bought it from salvage they wont know if he still has it right? basically he doesnt wanna tell the insurance about the motor if there is any chance they increase his premiums, but he does know for sure he will get a bigger check bc he has talked to them already aobut it didnt tell them he has the receipt or not, if he tells them about the motor in the sit. they wont know if he still has it or not rihgt?
and if they dont know bc he could get another car or sell the gsr motor they cant increase his prem. right? had to make this long to make sure it is clear

Wow, that post was so abbreviated I dont even know what hes talking about in some sentances. I don't think you can just go to the insurance company after they decided its totaled and say theres more in it. Dont start flaming me or anything but that almost sounds like insurance fraud. If you dont claim that the motor was in the car before the wreck they can't really help you I dont think, and plus you have to have the reciepts, and proof that the engine was in the car prior to the wreck.

it doesnt have to be prior and he does have them. like i said he knows for sure it will increase the value. they can and they did it for him before like i already said he was in a similar situation. dont u think i would know u need proof, that is common sense me and my friend know. like i said they will increase the value for the car if he tells them about the motor. one abbreviation was sit. as in situations. in this exact scenario that i posted nothin else, is what im talkin about. we already know the situation bc hes talk to them and they said they will increase it like i said for sure, this is about anothers experience or opinion about the ?s i asked. he will tell them bc he knows they will increase his value which means bigger check as long as there is no chance they will increase his prem. so when he buys it bck from the increased salvage value bc the value of the car increased, can the bill raise his prem. of that gsr? how would they know if he got another car and swapped that motor in to it, or how would they know if he sold it? if he kept it and fixed it they would know right?
