accord slave cd player
my dads accord (99) has a stock cassette player in it and i was about to buy a slave cd player to add in it for him and was wondering do i need a code for it or it just hooks right up and work.
If you buy the Honda CD player, you won’t need anything extra. You can pick it up for $202 from http://www.handa-accessories.com/accelect00.html
You can see what comes with it, as well as the installation instructions, here:

I’ve got a ’99 with a tape player, I put in a trunk mounted CD changer. I needed two adapters, one to convert the Alpine Ai-Net to normal signal (or something like that), and then a second adapter to fit the stereo. It was ~ $450 back in late ’98, it would be ~ $250 or $300 or so now, I think (I haven’t priced them in quite a while).
What code are you talking about?

i guess he means a radio code for the cd player, if you mean that, NO you do not, if you mean a code for the cassette player you already have in?, probably not, if you leave your battery connected, its basically a simple plug and play, you dont have to remove any wires from the cassette player.
