i need help with ordering pistons. i have a 98 gsr, and want to lower compression for my turbo kit. my goal is to run around 7-12psi maybe less. i was looking at je pistons, just dont know which ones to order 81, 81.25, or 81.5?? or would it be better for the shop to tell me when they take everything apart? any help would be appreciated. need to order soon. thanks

 

if its stock size bore them 81mm but ask the shop first because you might need 81.25( after the hone job)

 

chances are like stated before, u'll need to get 81.25



just ask the shop whos doing the work...

 

yeah stock bore is 81mm but it prolly will need ta b honed out a lil

 

just go big...84.5mm!
