Anyone not happy with their 15/16" MC conversion???
I did the '91 Civic EX 15/16" MC conversion on my EG and my brakes still feel a tiny bit mushy. I've tried rebleeding the system twice already.
My setup:
Integra GSR F/R brakes
SS lines
New pads/rotors
'91 15/16" MC
I'm going to try the 4040 proportioning valve and rebleed it to see if it makes any difference. If not, I'm thinking of just getting the Integra brake booster and MC.

So in other words you've never actually done this set-up then.
For those with Integra-spec brakes up front on stock 13/16ths master cylinders, the 15/16th master cylinder is the single greatest brake mod for pedal feel IMO.
Now I persoanlly run the 15/16ths Integra RS (only Teg w/o ABS in 94-95) with the matching larger Integra booster, so maybe I'm used to how nice my brakes feel. I doubt the 1991 EX 15/16ths m/c would feel much different even with a slightly smaller stock Civic booster.

changing your p.v. might make a difference cause u just did the m.c. swap. what PV size are u using right now. try a 4030 pv. I just did the 15/16th m.c. upgrade and working fine for me

What? You ever done this swap? It makes THE most difference in pedal feel out of everything you could swap hands down. I put on the 15/16 master cylinder along with the integra booster and I absolutely love my brakes. I never have issues with fade and they can bring the 2,200lb hatch to a rest in no time. Perhaps the master cylinder you swapped onto your car has bad seals... If you push the pedal down and hold it, does it slowly sink to the floor? If so, the seals are bad and this will greatly reduce your braking ability. Swap it out for a Kragen reman and your in business.

I think he meant in regards to the 4040 proportioning valve and not the MC.
Don't get me wrong, my 15/16" mc is brand new and was a huge improvement over my 13/16". But it doesn't feel like a stock Integra that I used to own. I'm thinking the larger booster is needed to get the ultimate feel.

I'm sure using the 15/16" mc on a smaller booster isn't the most optimum setup you can have, although it is still good for most people. I'm just the 10% that needs every bit of help in getting a good brake modulation feel, especially when slowing down from 90-30mph without lockup or twitchyness.
