R.I.P it was fun while it lasted car...
Just 2 weeks after moving to SF my ar got stolen and stripped clean...I had a viper alarm with all the bells and whistles, hood release cable was hidden and a fuel pump kill switch. It was parked on 20th and judah in the sunset, parked it at 5 the night before and got a call at 7 in the morning the next day. I didn't take any pics of the aftermath, just think of this car with nothing on it...Oh well RIP...I bought a bicycle

was your killswitch 'off' when they broke into it? the reason i ask is most stolen car stories i hear when people had killswitches, they happened to not be using them when the car got stolen.

Do you live in San Francisco or in Oakland? I was born and rasied in SF and lived in the Inner Sunset District for close to twenty years.
Ues to drive right by 20th Ave. and Judah St. a couple of days a week to get to the Sunset Market and Blockbusters down on 25th Ave. and Irving St. coming from 14th Ave and Irving St.
It's just not the Sunset District, but the whole of San Francisco is getting hard to live in. I just move out to the Sacramento Area a year ago this Oct. I miss the the lil city by the bay, but I just couldn't hang with all the traffic, rude people, crime, ect, ect, ect.
Sorry about your car, and good luck with your next project. I use to trip every time I drove my car and had to park out in the open. Garage is good, but soon or later you have to take it out and park out on the streets of San Francisco...
Peace Out

I moved to SF 3 months ago, I was leaving it my garage the whole time but the one night I had to park it out on the street cause some idiot was blocking my drivway. And yes the killswitch was on, I took all precautions when leaving it out in the open. It just screams steal me.

You should have called the S.F. Traffic divison and had the punk *** chump towed! I used to have that problem more then I'd like to recall, but once I started having punks sited and towed, they started to stay off my drive way.
I Feel you, I kown what it's like to come home and find some fool is parked in your drive way. But, that's life in the lil city thou...

Yep yep! That's all the time in SF! I don't know how many times I've had folks hangin out next to my car checking it out. Then you've got to get back in and park it some where else or wait in the car with the engine running.
It's gotton really bad in some parts of town, they don't even wait for you to get out and walk away, they just stand by till you park and then jack you! I mean take your sh*t by force of arms! Not steal it, as in my car was stolen when I parked it and I wasn't there...
