I have a '99 Accord EX. formonths, my horn has worked intermittently. I've had dealership lookat it 3 times. finally, yesterday, it malfunctioned for them. they replaced a cable. $162. didn't fix the problem. now they say only fix is to replace the entireairbag/horn assembly, for $600-plus in parts alone.

help? $1000 for a horn repair is not reasonable!

 

just get a new speaker horn, get an aftermarket one, put a horn in the engine bay get it wired, it would be way cheaper

other than that you could yell really loud....goodluck with that

 

do you have a tech school, or trade school nearby? i know that some people bring their cars to be worked on at mine... free labor. get parts at a discount. something you might want to look into if you dont want to do this yourself... btw you dont need airbags youve got a windshield for a reason.
