Default 91 civic with type R times

Last year:
'00 JDM ITR motor
Comptech 4-2-1
AEM CAI
Y1 LSD cable tranny (4.26 FD)

13.696@100.54 (2.05 60')

This year
'00 JDM ITR motor
An-R header
J's intake
190/129 hondata tuned
JDM ITR tranny (4.78 FD)

13.755@98.2 (2.05 60')

The weight of the car was similar for both times (full interior) and both runs were with drag radials. I was expecting to run slightly better times this year with more whp and better tranny.

The track was pretty cold this year and there was a fairly decent head wind. Do you think track conditions can make that much of a difference?

track conditions can affect it alot, i lost almost a second in the 1/4 due to warmer weather and head wind, its aggrevating.

The FD could have made a difference

Not interested in using slicks. 190/129.

get some slicks. i ran a best of 12.5 @ 105.5 with a 00 usdm itr swap and jun stage 2 's anda a ported head. car weighed 2280 with driver.

there's no better mod than actual seat time...

the car dynoed at 173 whp on the quaker state dyno earlier that day at a NHRA event. (on slicks)
