b20vtec owners with JG EDELBROCK IM or skunk2 INTAKE MANIFOLD please help thanks
right now i have a skunk2 intake manifold with a hondata gasket on my b20vtec motor , but i have been told that the JG EDELBROCK intake manifold will make more hp on 2.0 liter than the skunk2 manifold, and the skunk2 IM is better for 1.8 liter.[B] is this true?[B]
with my skunk2 IM i felt loosing a little power from 3000 rpm to 5000 rpm
but from 5000 and up to 8100 rpm i can feel great power gains than when i had my stock gsr intake manifold.
should i replace my skunk2 intake manifold for a jg edelbrock intake manifold?
money is not an issue performance and power it is !
any experience comments will be great thanks

i would keep your skunk manifold. the JG manifold is more for a higher RPM or turbo motor setup.
you will probably loose even more low-mid power to gain a few up over 8000+rpm.......not worth the trouble.

non-vtec is right. if u slap on that JG manifold u will loose more HP down low than the SKUNK2. the JG manifold is designed mainly for turbo cars. if u aint got/going with TURBO then dont bother with the manifold. stick with the SKUNK2. Get a set of stage 2 cams with valvesprings, raise ur rev limiter, then u will see the advantage of the SKUNK2 IM
