ok im buying a jdm d15b vtec, keeping my 89 dx tranny, and planning on boostin 6-8 psi in the near future which shouild give me about 180 hp right, i want to buy a lightwheight flywheel and performance clutch that will last, some people hve told me the exedy clutches are good but are they good enough??

Stage 1 or 2 clutchmasters clutch would be more then enough for that motor..
U could shave your stock flywheel a couple of puonds or u could buy a fidanza flywheel of EBAY.com..they're not that much..

Where did u get 180hp from..??
List your set-up atleast..

 

any street/strip clutch act/clutchmasters/exedy........etc

 

you made a post about a flywheel on ebay too. i would get a clutch from a 90-91 car to match the flywheel.

 

i like my act hdss kit with 8lb flywheel...people may complain about the weight on a stock car but when you have some real horsepower numbers it's not bad in traffic...just a little heavier.
