Default Best brake pad for E brake?

I track my ITR everywhere, everyday. I need to get the best brake pad for my e brake aka parking brake. Can I vent the rotor for maximum e brake performance?

What? The rear pads are what the PARKING brake uses. There is no emergency brake, its a PARKING brake. Oh yeah, if your using your parking brake @ the track, thats dumb, unless you are in some Japanese drifting vid lol (its still slow even though it looks cool )-

naw, I was just joking around Gotta get something up, thats not about the great header test (JDM ITR baby!).

I only use the ebrake in the snow/ice. But seriously, I thought the ebrake was a drum brake?? Its inside the rear passenger side rotor, no?

Not to bust your *****...

Every 240/740/940 series Volvo made from 1975 till 1995/6 has both drum pads (parking brake) and disk pads (rear brake) on the rear axle.

Honda has installed the rear system the correct way..

Celica GTS ( the new style) has a drum e-brake. This was one of the problems Sport Compact Car had when they started to upgrade the brakes on a Celica when they first came out.

Has anybody been able to kick the back end out using the hand brake? I tried doing it in both my GSR and Type R in the rain in a parking lot and I could not get the back end to kick around, even if I hit the brakes mid turn. Now I was only got about 25mph though... And no I don't do it all the time, was bored and it was always kewl to flip a bitch realy quick in my ol' Ford.

Many times. 180s in the dry on a 2lane street, on parking lots, etc.

Hmm. fairly hard I guess, but you have to pull it FAST.. my car wont do it anymore because I glazed the rear pads at the last track event I did (I'll take em off and sand em soon though). Also, my car has 600lb rear springs...

Steering input and a hard (modulated) left foot on the brakes will "kick the back end out."

Of course, ebrake works as well, but there's no rule of thumb on how hard one must pull it.

Man I bust out the ebrake all the time

When Im running late for work, I can hit a green light to go straight, do a quick 180 with the ebrake, and turn right really fast. I dont think its technically legal, because a cop might say its reckless, but I dont see any signs saying no U turn.

Its really easy to do, but I've only tried it once in AutoX. Not very useful in competition! Ask White Dragon!
