Default ?? about B20 vtec build

well im currently running a fully built gsr. stage2 cams, 11.5/1 cr, etc., etc.

i was wondering if it would be in good interest to get a b20 short block and toss in some high compression pistons and forged rods. then drop on the vtec head.

im sure i can get the short block for a good price from a wrecker, and then sell my short block for alot more than it cost me for the b20.

theoretically i would think this set up would net me alot more mid range torque, but im guessing id be losing a bit of top end hp. with a lower redline. ??

anyone have much experience with this?? or have any comments or advice??

thanx in advance.

You can get a b20 for like 500 bucks and then throw some pistons(12.1 or 11.5.1) and bigger sleves of course. Add stage 1 cams and tune right you be hitting 12.6-12.8 for sure... just redline at 8,500 just perfect......
