Well my dad was driving back from hunting in my 88std hb and he got attacked by a flat bead tow truck. He said he was driving and this flat bed thing goes to pass him and he hears a loud "ding" noise. He looks in teh mirror and sees paint fly off teh car and pulls over cause he thought a suspension arm or something broke. Long story short it has a rip in the sheet metal above the drivers wheel well lip. Its about a 1 1/2'' long looks like a quarter ($.25) slot like in a arcade game. Long story short Im wondering if I should fis it and blend it or just paint the whole damn thing. I know this thread is worthless without pics. Im assuming it will take me 2hrs for body work and cost of paint and booth rental. Probably around $150 for everything. Anyone know the paint code for 88 biege and these cars had base coat/clear on std even right? Im too lazy to look right now and thought id share a story and warn others to stay away from damn truckers. This thing ripped the sheet metal.
