Default Weird ground problem...car wont start...HELP!!!

As many of you know i was having alot of starter problems...then i found out that it was in the wiring. So i replaced ALL the wires coming from the battery(starter hot wire, fuse box hot wire, bat ground)...that seemed to work. It ran fine last night and today...it actually ran better than before with the new grounds.
So about 30 minutes ago i go out to the car to go somewhere...turn the key and get nothing. So i took off the battery to chassis and chassis to tranny grounds(they go to the same place on the chassis)...and they seemed fine. So i tried it again...and this time my brother said that he saw a spark coming from the tranny ground. Well i also have my pusher fan grounded there so i thought that might be it. I took it off and boom...the car fired right up. I let it warm up then shut it off. Tried again and got nothing. Well the starter clicks but it doesnt do anything.

Obviously it has something to do with the grounds. But i just cant figure out what it is. Could it be the size of the wiring? Heres the wire that i used...

Battery to chassis---4g
Tranny to chassis---8g
Starter hot wire-----4g
Fuse box hot wire--8g

Should i make the tranny ground 4g too since the battery ground is...and they connect at the same spot? Also...i have the tranny grounded on the clutch cable bracket...which is where it was stock...but i was thinking that there might be a better place for it? Also...on the connector thats attatched to the chassis coming from the tranny...its 8g wire but my 8g connector wasnt large enough to fit the 12mm bolt so i had to double the wire over and use a 4g connector. It smashed pretty tightly but its in there snug as hell. It wont come off even if i pull on it hard as hell. Im stupmed as hell man. Can anyone think of what could be causing this? I need this running as soon as possible so ANY suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance

BTW-Sorry about the double post...but i really need this thing running.

hmm 4g or 8g don't matter...for grounding...actually the bigger the better...4g sound good

anyway....do not ground two grounding wires from different spots to the same spot

2nd....go to homedepot and buy both end connector (copper) and bolt it to 12mm and make ur life easier

3rd...tranny is recommended to have a ground wire too...from bracket to the frame or your car (follow the stock way unless you find a bette spot...for better grounding make sure you scept off the paint on the frame, just a little bit)

4th...battery's grounding wire is the MOST IMPORTANT ground wire....it is neccessary for you to have a good ground wire there...2g is good too..

5th...all ground wire doesn't to be the same...bigger, smaller dont matter ....it just the efficiecy of grounding is better on bigger wires

here is a picture of my work

Thanks for the very informative post . So you shouldnt have 2 grounds in the same spot? I just routed them all the way that it came stock. Im going to re-reoute them here in a little bit...ill make sure and change the tranny ground to a different spot. Thanks again.

BTW-badass header dude...what kind is it? At first i thought it was one of the jdm DC's...but my friend had one and his flange turned colors too

BTW- i forgot to mention that while my brother was trying to start the car i heard a weird noise...it was like a muffled pop and my intake filter lit up. I thought that it might have been because the car was flooded and it sparked and went through the intake tube. Could that be waht happened or is there something bigger going on here?

Type R re-customed header at collector...the flange is yellow too...but the camera angle and the light make it crome white...

anyway....you must not have two ground wires from two different location to one location on ur car frame

so each wire must have it owns grounding location....especially battery ground wire...it must be alone by itself...gl to you
