Default Fabricated guage pod, total cost Free99

I had a spare Air/Fuel Gage that i need to hook up. but i had nowhere or nothing to mount it with or on, so i took my old Apex1 VAFC stand and a clamp, and came up with this:

doesnt look perfect form the outside, but hell, i drive a camo 4 door, so function over fashion

you should have seen the power steering pump i built today at work.... had to change PS pulleys and drill holes to get it to match up, and finally weld the whole thing together...

turns out, it still didnt work.

The most common excuse for half assing something and trying to pass it off as a race car part.

Made that for a 2g Eclipse.

$2 piece of black plexiglas at local supply store, couple $2 radio shack switches, couple minutes with a hole saw and a dremel.

Attached to the back of the trim piece with epoxy.

No radio in the car anymore, but with a big open exhaust, I'm highly doubting I could have heard it anyways.

That looks real nice, but how do even see that in boost?

I can look at boost fairly easy, provided the tires aren't melting. It's a 500+hp FWD DSM.

I also log boost and everything else important via the ECU, but when I bought the gauges, most of this fun **** wasn't out yet. So now I just have it for the ricer effect.

The console pod (vacuum molded) was made by a buddy of mine. It's fairly easy to see as well.

I have enough warning lights in the car should anything fail, oil pressure is set to a autometer oil pressure LED, knock is set to a shift light, etc.

sell them for about 7-10 bucks shipped? anyone interested?

LOL!

I'm very **** when it comes to the "permanence" of my modifications, especially when it comes to appearance. The only thing in the interior of my car that differs from stock is the mini Autometer shift light mounted to the column. And I never use and screws into factory interior panels. I'm the same way with my truck. An 89 Mustang and a 02 F250.
