I had a 94 Black LS...i know nothing special...I had put hard earned money in it for 2.5 years (aem cold air, greddy sp2 (brand new...picked it up for $375 and it was only used 2 weeks prior to purchase), 2001 gsr blades, 20% tint all the way around...35% on the front windshield, a little system, and a few other things that I had on the car years previous...all this hard earned money went down the drain when I was coming back from the beach at the start of this summer...5 minutes away from my house and I was about to pass the BMW Factory here in greer, sc when a damn semi truck decided he wanted to go across the road...Running 57mph (cruise set) he pulls across the lane next to me and into mine...Had 62ft. to try to slow down (skid mark measurment by Greer City Police) and me and my buddy slammed into the side of the cab! Me and my buddy were both fine except for minor air bag burn on my wrist and whip lash...seat belt bruised my boy up real bad and cut my neck. Damage: pushed motor back 6-8inches, broke the passenger side clips on the dash when the bag deployed and slanted my dash, both seat almost came out of the floor, both seat belts were almost jerked out of the floor, buckled the passenger side floor under the seat, busted the motor...Had 144,223 miles on the motor and was still getting 31mpg with the a/c on coming home...and the worst part of it all is that the trucking company's insurance company says that I could have avoided the accident...who knows how b/c I tried...tried to run off of road to get away and hit truck then bounced to the middle of the two lanes! And they arent paying us ****! So I had to file the total loss on my insurance just to get the money for the car...

HaHa...look closley at the front pics...cant see throu the front! Gangsta!
So now the whip I have is the one in my signature...

Thats sucks man.. But your new car in the sig seems like a wishlist not a car... Hehe, I mean, Mugen Cluster? Spoon Trans?? You went from pretty hot to HoTT baLLEr
Sorry to hear, bro. Good to hear you're OK though (not like anyone's told you that yet
). ... But someone chime in: isn't it the police's job to determine fault, not the insurance company?
If it were up to the insurance companies to decide fault in accidents, hell would freeze over before they paid out a claim...

what did the police have to say about the fault? don't let the trucking company's insurance win this case if you're not at fault, fight it! sounds like they owe you a car
that's utter BS if the truck company isn't going to pay ****. hire a lawyer and sue their ***. at least write letters (send them registered) and send copies to local news agencies. did anyone test the truck driver for alcohol? make sure your premiums don't go up because of this accident, you can sue the truck driver (or the company) in small claims court if you can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he was at fault (which sounds like it).
you are eligible to sue them for increased premiums, injuries, medical bills, and anything not covered by insured. don't due them for lost wages or other stuff, take pictures of any damage to yourself and document any emotional stress. even keep receipts if you went to get a massage

You went from hard working 2.5 years to do bolt on's, and now you have a GSR with mods that are worth more than the car? Kinda hard to believe.
Not sayin it's impossible, because my teg is worth about $25k and I'm still 17, and payed for it all my self.

Are you ******* kidding?. It's 35% light transmission, which means 65% of the light is blocked *BOTH WAYS*. My tinted motorcycle visor is not good at night, neither are sunglasses. Your window tint is no different.
I had 35% on my side and back windows that I just removed, and would have to say having your front window tinted is somewhere close to the pinnacle of stupidity. Is it even legal anywhere?

No not legal...just done correctly makes it look like the sides are really dark which is making the front look tinted! 35% to the asI line then 5% over the asI line and heat shrunk together...cops look for the difference between the asI line and the windshield itself...done correctly, the asI line is way darker and stands out...
