my friend asked me to look at his 90 civic lx d15 (200k on the odo) cuz it cranks but, no start. he already replaced the cap, rotor, & plugs. i first checked the wires are on correct, then for spark on all 4 cylinders, all 4 are firing properly. then i checked for fuel, both injectors are squirting (dp-injection) . he removed the neg battery cable, so when i checked, there was no codes on the ecu. i couldnt find my compression tester, would this be a good place to start from, or should i look at sensors ( cam angle, etc. ) ???? any suggestions? advice?

yeah I would check the wires from the dizzy as I just found two wires that had no signal going and coming from the ECU

this is of course on a swap but still I would check if not these generation has problems witht he dizzies as I have myself gone through two already in the past 40 thousand miles sounded like it wanted to start but no go

before this did it run???

 

ok, im new here. dizzy=distributor? yeah, ran fine. just died while driving. checking that would make sense, but this is bone stock, no intake, no swap..... nuthin. go sox!
