Default Acura CL H22 hybrid sites?

Is there any informative sites out there that show an H22 installation in a 1st gen Acura CL (97-99)?

I'm assuming they're exactly like an Accord when it comes to an H22 install and the engine wire harness compatibility...

thanks for any help..

as I've heard too.
I'd like to get some detailed info on this swap though. I did find some informative swap info here:

http://www.accordinglydone.com...p?a=2

...but that article leaves out some things I wonder about. Mainly alternative wiring & ecu related stuff. And it doesn't bluntly say what year accord the swap is being performed on, but i gather its an OBD1 accord & H22 engine.

with the f22 in the cl being obd2 it would have the TDC and crank angle sensors at the oil pump rahter than in teh distributor, and it MAY have saturated injectors though i would lean towards just hte 240cc peak and holds since it is based on teh 5ht gen accord so closely. afaik the iacv is still a 2 wire in those cars and is mounted on teh back of the mnaifold. the onyl other thing that may be slightly diff is whether the MAP is on the throttle body or the firewall.

if i was to do the swap myself, i would use an obd1 h22a, and pull teh wiring over to the distributor for the TDC/Crank angle sensors, splice the obd1 injector clips in and call it a day once i got an obd2-1 jumper harness. not much else to it if im not completely wrong.

thanks for the info...
I'm sure a remedy for the OBD2 sensors (crank sensor) would be to run a rare OBD2a P13 ecu, yeah?

that one looks for the same stuff, the 1996 h22a has the crank and tdc sensors on teh oil pump as well...but eitehr ecu is SUPPOSEDLY happy if it gets a reading formt eh distirbutor OR crank, but i ahve not proved it myself.

ah...i wouldn't really want to mess with obd2 if i were you

Just convert everything to obd1, you end up with more choice to go if you plan to upgrade the motor later on.

if your sole reason for obd2 is to pass smog, well, keep in mind your motor need to be new than the car. I know because i am in pasadena myself.

thanks..
Yeah I'm just wanting to cover all options people have when doing an H22 swap, whether they want to be smog legal, or just to be a certain OBD spec.... along the same lines as B-series swaps.

nice to hear you live in P'dena too
