Boom? Like BANG! CRASH! BAM! BLOO-EY!! CRACK!
Your car wouldn't run really lean for long at all... When the fuel shuts off, the RPM's just steadily fall until it stalls. If everything's all good and running fine now, you should be fine. Might do a compression test to ensure the rings didn't toast if you did really lean out. But you're good

you're fine, car's will backfire sometimes when you're running on an empty tank, if there's no CEL, no codes, and it doesn't happen again outside of the same circumstances... you're good homey

the thing is, it didnt back fire. it sounded like it came from the intake. sometimes it falls off for some reason, and it did this time. it ws sucking air, sucking air, sucking air, and then the rpm stoped, then BANG. ill check the compression this weekend. it does drive fine now.
You car should be fine. I seriously doubt you did any real damage. Its not like it was running lean for a long time and detonating the hell out of it.
BTY are you LDS??? Or is Gordon B Hinkley not really your hero? I'm a jack mormon thats why I ask.

I guess you don’t know what your talking about. This is not a teg related question. This in a motor related question. Thus ask this in the tech forum where people have vast knowledge of technical information about motors. You would probable get a better answer them “You car should be fine.”

Ghey... I liked my answer just fine... but maybe you're right - if 1quickLS posted this in the tech forum, he might not get two useless posts out of someone like you. Lay off the crack and ease up.

well heres the codes i threw after this incident
P0135 Primary Heated Oxygen Sensor (Primary HO2S) (Sensor 1) Heater Circuit Malfunction
P1366 Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor B (Top Dead Center (TDC) Sensor) Intermittent Interruption
and P1367 Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor B (Top Dead Center (TDC) Sensor) No Signal
ok heres the problem though. my book says its the crankshaft. not the camshaft. so swap out these words. the ones i put up were the H-T explaniations. so whos right? and is my car fucked? it drives fine....for now
