Default Steering Knuckle Question

I hit a curb pretty hard on Saturday night. Since the car has been pulling hard to the right. I took it to the local honda dealership, they aligned it, but it still pulls hard. They said thats the best they could do, and that everything including the UCA and LCA's looked fine and to take it to a body shop.

The local body shop, which has a good reputation called this am and said they think the steering knuckle on that side is bent. Has anyone had this happen? I figured the UCA or LCA would bend first, but perhaps its just the way I hit the curb. They want about $400 to put a new one in, just dont know what I should do. Any ideas?

Are they meaning the Knuckel it self? Check the lower a arm and link, those would have bent also.

Dunno thats what I was curious about. They are replacing the Knuckle and the bearing. Odd think is all three places that have looked at it have said that everyhing including the LCA mounts are straight.

Im wondering if that happened to me too, because I got my car aligned but it still pulls damn hard to the left. It's weird , because some days, it will be better than others, but jeez, it makes driving so annoying. Also, it hasn't cambered my tires which I thought if it was my alignment it would...any thoughts?

mine pulls to the left, I changed the whole driver side suspension. My alignment guy told and showed me the outer steering tie rod and the adjuster that was stretched and bent, he said that was the problem. Also on the freeway at high speed the car will wiggle around when u drive over a small hill or depression.

Is this what ur experiencing?

Its close, it is unstable on the highway and also pulls pretty hard under accelleration and braking.

So if you think you have something bent down there, what do you do, just pop your car up on a jack and start looking for bent arms and stuff? The bends aren't always obvious right, which wouldn't look bent but still cause steering to be messed up?
