has anyone had experience with this CAI for the S?? or even know the actual company name?? i'm not sure i'm sort of confused.... i can't seem to find anything on it.. nor can i find a webpage dedicated to it... any help would be great.. thanks..

 

4IG had them made himself somewhere overseas. Very similar to the AEM and Injen. Pretty much a carbon copy actually...

I'm pretty sure everyone hates that guy and he kind of disappeared. There was a mishap between partners I believe.

Your best bet is looking on S2ki in the FS forums. You can usually find them on there. If I see one, I'll be sure to let you know about it.

 

yeah there's one guy on there selling it now.. thats why i was asking.. i was trying to find some more info about the intake itself and the (company) but couldn't find anything on it.. thats why i posted this..

 

I remember seeing that it made around the same power as the AEM V1 since it was the same design. The black chrome piping does look really sweet though. If you can get it cheap, I think its a good idea.

 

 

the 4IG is the same thing as the aem v1...i say just get the aem v2 and call it a day

There was a guy who lived out here (Bay Area, California) he had a company called 4IG. For a while they sold a AEM/Ingen CAI copys. Almost identical preformance as well as looks.Basiclly, just as good as the AEM just without smog approval. But being in VA, you don't have the same SMOG laws as California anyway.
The company 4IG has since been bought out and the production of the Intake has stopped. However, if your in the market for a CAI, and if you can find a 4IG intake for around $100 bucks or less, I'd say it would be a good buy.

 

smog laws here in virginia are bad like california... not as bad but it's still high up there.... some places will fail you for having any type of modification on your car...
