In the magazine they picture an s2000 with these wheels, but when you go to the website they have all the offsets and cars that the wheels can be put on... NO s2k ? Kinda weird just tryin to find out what's up with that.

 

I got sponsored for these wheels. They do have the right offsets for the S2000. They even have fronts for BBKs.. I am painting them black.

 

Probably your spa yellow s2k in the magazine racing then... What offsets did you go with ?

 

if the wheels are two piece wheels you can get them made to fit any offset..

 

those wheels look kinda hot...would u run 17x7.5 +48 front 17x8.5 +48 rear???? +48 is the highest offest which i think sucks

wow they do look nice hehehe... and you wouldn't want to run 17x8.5 all the way around. it'll mess up the balance of the car... are those wheels one peice? or two piece....?

i think the 17x7.5 will be ok.. but the 17x8.5 might rub... i think if you want to go with a 8.5 - 9 wide in the rear you have to be in the +60 area.... i would go on s2ki and ask jim in the tire/wheel forum..... he knows his stuff..

also are you going to be dropped? or not? that'll make a difference also

no, it wouldn't. please don't. that's the wrong offset, and running non staggard widths is a bad thing in this car, even if offsetted with tires.

no no....read it again....the sizes will be staggard....7.5 front 8.5 rear just +48 offset all around for the offset

 

ahh, sorry about that.

honestly, it is borderline. some people get away with it, but I'm unsure at the moment. I'll let one of the offset-experts/wheel-experts chime in on this one. or else... they might just stick out a bit.

 

Thats fine. I am going with the exact rear but the fronts will be a +42.

 

They will fit, you can fit a wide variation of offsets on the s2k actually if you roll the fenders. Anybody want to buy a set? hehe
