Default F*ck!! Now I have a leak in my crx!!

Well after some heavy rain last night, I get into my crx and I notice that the passenger side floor is drenched. I have an 88 crx dx so I don't have a sunroof. I checked the car and only the passenger floor is wet, not even the seat or door panel. Yes I did have my windows all the way up, any ideas guys?

It has rained before and my crx has been fine, but last night was some pretty heavy rain!

EDIT: Found leak!!

hmm. was the car parked even? or on a hill? One place I saw that leaked on my CRX sometimes is thru the speaker grille in the door trim panel. I parked at a 90 degree angle(perpindicular) to the curb and the driver side was facing downhill. The rain draining in the door off the glass was running down and hitting the inside of the passenger trim panel and coming thru the speaker grill.

Driving up California as much i did i ran into rain all the time. cept mine leaked on the driver side right newar the werid coin tray/relay is. The only thing i can think of....is the Vents in front of the Windshield somehow have opened or leaked or SOMETHING.....but i know what it's like to have to stuff a sock into the leak until the rain subsides or until get home from stockton to s.d and i can park my baby.....Check all the stripping by the windshield. That would be my only guess...Good luck guey

Not that I can remember, but the car was parked and this is the first time it happened.

Gotta be the windsheild or the factory seam along the side of the car(black strip on the roof)

In my case it's the windsheild and the seam seal so i have a leak in the front windsheild and the rear hatch struct.

My solution, the car is covered with a tarp at all times at home till I am ready to use it.

Sucks.

Mine has been doing the same thing , but mine leaks in my rear by the hatch window. I"m guessing its either the weather stripping or the winshield washer nozzle at top( its kinda loose i can move it slightly around).

i'm with him. if its just on that one side (and parked on level ground) i would say its the windshield. was anything else wet like up by the dash or anything?? something that would show the water trail.

sorry to hear that man.. good luck with it.

I had this problem, but my car was on jackstands while I was working on my front suspension and clutch. I noticed that it was coming down the inside of my firewall running under my ECU. No lie, I had about two inches of water on my passenger side only. So I said screw it and cut half my rug out because there was no way it would have dried out. It sucks not having a garage.

For as long as I had my car I would assume. I first noticed it when I pulled my passenger side floor mat and pulled the carpet to replacemt my ecu and noticed it was wet. Couple rainy days later I check that section again and its soaked, checked the drivers side and it was dry.

I don't think it's coming from the speakers on my car, I am pretty sure I would have noticed it.
