I along with everyone else am waiting with anticipation...

However, here is one thing that I haven't seen brought up yet: What are people going to say about the "fact" that each engine response differently to mods. Now I know that if header A puts down 50 more HP then header B then it might seem clear that Header A is better. But what about those 5HP differences that in can easily be a result of subtle tuning. This effect has been clearly demonstrated with CAMs.

Let the games begin...

Regards,

That's a good point but with the resources that were available, I think what they did was the best solution.

The baseline on that car seems high, was that with the SMS exhaust, or just the Icebox? (and SPOON oil cap)

Bryan

edit: I see the answer now opps

looks like JD DC made 7 peak hp, and 6 peak tq, over stock, Seemed as if it dominated most of the powerband, oh well 1 down 8 to go,

Mike who has the jdm DC 4-1 but was going to upgrade depending on test results, maybe he wont have to

Thats because its a **** site. Lots of nekkid acuras spreading their bits.

We can all see the JDM DC header lost NO power, and we've all seen many posts saying "You will lose bottom end!" This test is cool, becuase it will finally put an end to all the myths out there.

Hmm..intresting. I though Mustang dynos usually give 10-15 less HP then Dynojet. But 174 Hp stock sounds lie ka Dynojet number to me...no?

I would have expected more HP from the exhaust/test pipe......
Also, why is the ITR making so much HP stock? or does it have any other mods? ice box maybe? adv timing?

Looks like they're starting from the bottom of the hp figures and working their way up. Who'll be last?

Yeah, the DC JDM and the JDM header have similar plots ... perhaps the DC has a bit more torque.

I think it's important to focus here on the ratio/relationship of stock hp VS brand (X) header hp; as opposed to the actual HP figures themselves (ex. 174hp stock)
This will give you a better idea of the actual results of the headers, and less headaches.
