Any sheet metal workers?

Default Any sheet metal workers?

I am thinking about going into the sheet metal union and would like to hear other peoples 2 cents on how they like there job and what different types of things you fab up.

Mods you can move to General Disc. if there is a prob.

my dad's neighbor had a break for a while (i think he let somebody borrow it). He did a lot of panels for my uncles different race cars and various other things.
It's very handy to have a break for different projects here and there.

omg lol haha. I do sheet metel but Im not in the union so I couldnt help you out.

I'm an engineer for the sheetmetal department of an aerospace company. We make hot-section gas turbine engine components. We make anything the customer wants. It's a good time- just extremely fast-paced due to the nature of our business.
