Default I FINALLY got her running again!

Just wanted to thank everyone that helped me out with my starter situation. Alot of people were telling me that it was the clutch pedal switch. So i went down to charlotte yesterday and tried to jump that switch...and got nothing. So at this point i just say **** it and replace EVERY wire that has anything to do with the starter. I had already replaced the grounds...but i decided to go back through and re-do them once again. When i took off the battery to chassis ground i noticed that a little piece of electrical tape had came loose and gotten between the connector and the chassis. So i cut off that piece of electrical tape and reconnected it. Then i replaced the tranny ground with a larger wire(6g).

Next thing i did was inspect the signal wire. Turns out it had gotten pinched somehow and there were only 3 strands holding the wire together. Luckily i had another slide on connector...so i replaced that. Then i got in the car and tried it again. It actually tried to turn over for a second but it just seemed like it wasnt getting enough power. So i put some jumper cables on it and it did the same thing.

So i took off the hot wire that goes to the starter. It looked fine...until i turned it over. On the bottom i noticed a little cut through the insulation. So i cut oof that section of insulation...and there it was...a SHITLOAD of corrosion. Unfortulately i didnt have any way to replace that wire down there(i live an hour away and only had my toolbox). So i got ghetto on that bitch. I took a piece of 6g wire and straight wired the starter to the battery. Got in the car and it fired right up...well after cycling out the bad gas. Now the car starts as soon as you hit the key...and it idles a whole lot better because of the new grounds.

Im going today to get a new positive battery terminal so that i can wire the starter up right. Just wanted to say thanks to all of those that helped me with this. I guess it was just a combination of bad grounds, a corroded hot wire, and a f*cked up signal wire...who woulda known? Im just glad to finally have my car back after a month
