Can change my manual gears when car is moving without clutch? !!
I have a 94 2.2 vtec prelude with manual transmission.
I recently noticed when im driving i can change the gears without pressing down the clutch? what does this mean??
has my clutch gone, or do i need a new gear box?
thanks in advance..

Means nothing... All manual transmissions can do this. It's just like you didn't have any syncros at all. I can do a 3->4 shift without grinding and without using the clutch.
Eh? I thought power shifting was using the clutch just not lifting your foot off the gas. You can't "power" shift very well w/o using the clutch as you need to unload the tranny (get off the gas and coast) to shift w/o the clutch to disengage the engine.
No that's called speed shifting. Power shifting is shifting without the clutch. There was a thread about this issue. There's always a mix up.
