I was thinking...it was really hard to loosen that bolt up. I might of kink or crush the fuel line near the filter.
Dont tell that its going to be expensive to repair/replace.

Follow the line, if it looks like it goes under the car then your kind of screwed. If it cuts off then you might be in luck. Cant really tell by that pic.

I look earlier from under the hood or engine bay, it look like it dont have any cut or adaptor/connections.
Oh well,...I guess I'll find out at the H-part dealer tomorrow.

you can cut off that line at the tip and get it flaired, using a brake flare kit.
I would just take off the nut then put some liquid teflon tape around the thread area and seat of the line install it then wait a few hours and see if it holds.

have anyone done this...
could it be that I overtighten it??
another question...when bolting the line in, do I push it in or let it loose then tighten the bolt??

Why couldnt you just ghetto it for now with cuttint it and using a rubber hose and 2 worm camps?
1. Cut yours down a few inches, go to the parts store and buy a new hard line for like 5.00 then get like 2" or the rubber hose and clamp it.
2. see if the parts store will let you use their flairing tool and just redo it.
3. you would still need the flair tool but cut it down get a new short hard line and a female 2 female box and do it that way. You could even get a 3 way splitter or "T" and put you fuel gauge on the "T"
1 would be easiest and would relly not be ghetto becuse it for sure would hold the pressure that a fuel pump would push out. Replacing the whole line would be a pain in the ***.

You can take it off and try some teflon tape or if its comming out the back not on the threads then its not tight enough.

I try the teflon tape on the tread but the thing is it leak from the line where the bolt seats on. If you look at the pic again, the RED drawing shows where the fuel is leaking.

I'd think it could be that the line was over tightned.
If it is cracked I wouldn't 1/2 *** it.
Fuel lines are not something to rig up.
If you need to replace the line when you get to the part of putting that nut back on maybe use some teflon tape and go hand tight and then maybe a 1/4 turn to assure that it's tight and then test and see if that will be okay.
