My dad works at Jiffy lube, so to save money i get the used oil that he drains, its just as good as any new oil

I had the same stuff, but after considering the OEM filter issues, I decided to use OEM everything now since I'm gonna follow the maint schedule anyway. (4 Quarts BTW)

i'm thinking about doing it when i can't drive due to the snow, hopefully never snows, but when it does i'll pull the bumper cover off and bring it to get redone. Untill then i still streak around the hood from time to time...

Mobil 1 10W-30

It doesn't get cold enough to justify 5W, and 10W has fewer polymer stabilizers.

Mobil 10W-30. It doesn't get cold enough here for the 5W-30. But I'm glad it doesn't get too cold!
